More than 30 years of artistry and faux finishing experience

After the completion of a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Fine Arts, Philis taught art while creating and selling mixed media abstract landscapes.  For over two decades, Philis has dedicated her skills to creating unique decorative finishes in interior spaces, including, venetian plaster, glazing techniques, stenciling, faux bois, gilding, murals, Trompe l'oeil and painted furniture.  The use of color, line, shape, texture and space along with a keen eye for style and design have been the guide for exquisite compositions.

 

Philis prides herself on her sharp eye for color, style and design. Her ear for listening and strong communication skills enable her to meet the needs of both the client and/or designer.

 

Utilizing the most current applications of her craft with the workplace as her canvas, Philis' work demonstrates her expertise of finishes appropriate for modern, transitional and classical spaces.
